Why the CRCB was Formed

The Canadian Reflexology Certification Board is a non-profit certifying agency which exists to protect the public and promote reflexology through recognition of competent reflexologists who practice on a professional basis and choose to be certified by national / international agency.

Aren’t there existing Canadian national organizations created to represent Reflexologists?

Contrary to some popularly expressed opinions NO! Certainly there does exist several agencies whose declared mandate is to promote and support Reflexology and Reflexologists, however in reality this is not so.

The reality is that if you complete their exclusive training program, you will be allowed to become a member, and get accreditation.

However, if you do not complete their private in-house programs, you will be denied any assistance or representation in your chosen field of Reflexology. If you trained at a “non-approved” school (and these agencies set their own approval committees) then even if that establishment where you trained exceeds the set standard, or even doubles the education hours, then you would not be allowed to join.
